Hi! My name is James, but everyone calls me Paul. I don’t think I am a typical convict. I am serving 18 years on a first offense that really boils down to me getting caught up in bad influences and a situation that should never have happened and got out of control. I am not a criminally minded person, prior to my arrest I was in school at the University of Tulsa, running my own computer business, and engaged to be married.
I am looking for friendship, especially with people who do not mind deep intellectual and spiritual conversation. I am very easy to get along with and am not interested in begging for financial assistance or romance, just developing a lasting relationship with a dependable friend.
Besides being a felon, I am an athlete and love sports and the outdoors. I am very passionate about my faith and my family, they are the center of my universe. I did not end up married and have no kids of my own, but I love my cousins and nephews as if they were. I try to be upbeat and positive about everything, because life is too short to dwell on the bad. Either my most annoying or likable trait is the demand of improvement, or at least the striving of it, in myself and everyone I interact with. I despise the ‘status quo’ and settling for second best in anything.
That’s about all I can think of for now, if you want to know more you’ll just have to write and ask!
